How to use the TurtleCases admin panel
Getting Started
Press Ctrl+Shift+A to open the login panel. After authenticating, the toolbar will appear in the bottom-right corner. You can drag it by the grip handle (dots icon) in the header.
Editing Content
Click "Edit Content" to activate editing mode. All editable text fields will show a dashed border on hover. Click any text to edit it. Press Enter to save or Escape to cancel. Fields with saved edits show a green border and an "edited" badge.
Translations (PT/EN)
Use the language selector in the toolbar to switch between PT and EN. When you switch, all content displays the text for the selected language. Edits are saved separately per language — you can customize the Portuguese text without affecting English and vice versa.
Image Gallery
Editable images show an edit button on hover in admin mode. Click to open the image gallery where you can select an existing image or revert to the original. Image overrides are stored separately from text overrides.
Exporting Content
When there are saved edits, export buttons appear in the toolbar. "Export" downloads the full language JSON file with your edits merged in. "Overrides only" downloads just the edits, without the default text.
Contact Messages
The "Messages" button shows messages received through the contact form. A red badge indicates unread messages. You can mark each message as read or delete it.
Toolbar
The toolbar can be minimized by clicking the up arrow, and dragged to any position by the grip handle. The position is automatically saved between sessions.
